EuCNC 2016 is the 25th edition of a successful series of a technical conference in the field of telecommunications, sponsored by the European Commission.  The 2016 edition will be co-organized by the University of Piraeus and the Institute of Communications and Computer Systems (ICCS). The participants are active in next generation networking and services; broadband core and access networks; wireless and optical networking; radio over fibre technology; all-optical devices and systems; optical multiplexing, switching, routing, memories; novel photonic devices; as well as market in telecommunications.


Delegates attending ICTON 2015 were mainly researchers from academic and industrial institutions, opinion leaders and decision makers. The event hosted more than 350 participants from all over the world.

COMBO disseminated several of its results to 2015 European Conference on Networks and Communications (EuCNC)



EuCNC’2015 was the 24th edition of a successful series of a technical and scientific conference open to the world research community, sponsored by the European Commission, in the area of Telecommunications, focusing on communication networks and systems, and reaching services and applications. It aimed at showcasing the results of the consecutive programmes on R&D and projects co-financed by European programmes, as well as presenting the latest developments in this area. The conference has a not for profit organisation, hence, registration fees were as low as possible, and all surplus will be made available in grants. The conference will be indexed in the major databases. Best Paper Awards will be granted. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the EuCNC’2015 Conference Proceedings and submitted to other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases.

 

The Conference Proceedings will be submitted for indexing to the following databases: Inspec, EBSCOScopus/Elsevier/Compendex (Engineering Village), Thomson Reuters - Web of Science, DBLP.

 

The conference was organised by the Coordination and Support Action EuConNeCts, Project FP7-ICT-2013-11-619 470.

 

The project partners presented 3 regular papers, 1 workshop paper and 1 poster, of which 4 are joint papers from several COMBO partners:
